You can go to Pine River, Crosslake, Pequot Lakes, Breezy Point, Nisswa, Crosby, Deerwood, Lake Shore, Merrifield, Pillager, Baxter and Brainerd and be enthralled with the beauty and uniqueness of each and every one of the places. Here you can enjoy great fishing, go scuba diving, camping or biking.  The area is great for fishing, boating, golfing and shopping.  Nisswa comes from the Ojibwa  world “messawae” which means “in the middle” or “three”, the town site and Lake Nisswa are the middle of the three interconnected lakes.  Get ready for some great fun in Pequot Lakes!  Pequot Lakes is a little bitty town with a great big heart.
