How to best use your autoresponder for your email marketing campaigns.

without comments

Studies show a potential visitor will take seven to nine messages before s/he becomes comfortable with you and eventually contacts or preferably buys your products or services. If you are left with only one marketing tool, what would you retain? Most marketers would say autoresponders or their email list. This tells you how serious you should treat your email marketing effort AND your autoresponder tool.

What is an autoresponder? An email autoresponder allows you to follow up your potential customers at a predefined timeframe automatically through emails. You may acquire this functionality by installing a script on your webhosting or you can acquire this function through third party autoresponder service providers Is your email autoresponder working as effectively as designed? What criteria should you consider when it comes to picking an email autoResponder? What is the single most important criteria when choosing your autoresponder service?

Three criteria you should consider before you invest your hard-earned cash in this vital marketing tool. A great deliverability is the most sought-after feature of any email autoresponder. Any internet user would receive tons of SPAM mails in their mail-box each day. If you use Gmail, you should be familiar with the screen shot below. There are 2808 spam emails in my Gmail account as at the time of writing. I will never read these emails. If you use some poor autoresponder service, your emails will automatically be streamed into these SPAM folders. You may ask, “What determines which email go to “SPAM” folder?” Unless you are gmail.com, you don’t know their “way of thinking”.

But definitedly you don’t want to be the one who emails the optins to their SPAM folder. But what is the main cause for your emails not being able to reach your targetted prospects or subscribers? There are many reasons why it is the case, but by far the most important reason is this: Is your autoresponder a self hosted script OR third party autoresponder service? As mentioned, you acquire your autoresponder function either by the script you hosted on your website or you may build your list and your autoresponder through a third party service provider. The mission of a third party autoresponder service providers is to deliver your emails. Why do I not recommend a self-hosted script which you can install onto your webhost?

The reason is one word: “SPAM”. Some of your subscribers will report you as SPAM, no matter how diligent and sincere you are with your email marketing campaigns. People just forget they sign up on your list. They will report your emails as SPAMs some day down the road. It’s just a matter of “when”, not “If”. When subscribers report your emails as spams, their internet service provider (ISP) may blacklist your future emails. This blocks your emails getting into their inbox in the future. I have previously used a hosted service, which had good results initially (for about 6 months). After a few of my ex-subscribers complaint me spamming them, my emails are not as effective as before. Treat email autoresponders service companies eat and breath on deliverability.

They ensure your emails get delivered. Some autoresponder service us claiming that it delivers 99.34%, meaning it their readers get 99 emails out of 100 emails! There are some free autoresponder services out there. I urge you not to waste your time finding or even trying one. Why? I have used those services and only found myself promoting someone!|s else services. Those free services basically send out your emails with their own embedded advertising. Your readers will read their ads first before your messages. If you are not serious about your business, use free autoresponsers. Price should be the least concern, as autoresponder is your lifeblood of your viral traffic. Usually a quality autoresponder costs around $20 a month.

Which Are The Best Article Directories With The Most Exposure?

without comments

If you know anything at all about marketing online then you will no doubt have heard about article directories.

There are hundreds of these all over the internet, but that doesn’t mean it is worth submitting to all of them. If you get to know what the best article submission sites are and you submit your articles to them regularly, you can expect to get a lot of exposure and a potentially huge number of people reading your articles and clicking on your link to visit your website too.

So which sites should you be going to? Here are the top three:

Ezine Articles
This is a huge article directory and it is easily known as being the best one of the lot. At the time of writing it has over one hundred and twenty thousand authors who have realized its benefits, and that number is set to keep rising.

There are plenty of reasons why you should submit your articles to this site, but the main one is definitely that Google loves it with a passion. If you look up almost any subject on that search engine, the chances are very high that you will find at least one article from Ezine Articles ranking somewhere on the first page.

There are also plenty of good categories to post your articles in, and you will find the member’s dashboard is full of information and very easy to use as well.

Buzzle
Despite the rather strange name this site is a definite hit with anyone wanting to increase the traffic to their website.

It looks a lot more polished than a lot of article directories, and each author gets their own profile page which they can fill out with some information about themselves. This page also contains an author widget which should encourage some of your ardent readers to tell everyone about you on their web page!

And you can of course also link through to your website, to get that much needed traffic you are after. You can do this from your profile and also from the end of each article you write.

As with Ezine Articles there are plenty of categories to post your content to, and the process is made as easy as possible. This should definitely be on your ‘to do’ list to join if you are not already a member.

Search Warp
This site promotes itself as a writer’s community, and it certainly is. But don’t let that fool you into thinking that you won’t get plenty of exposure and traffic from posting your articles here.

The author’s dashboard is a great place to start, with lots of data and information on all the articles you submit. Not only can you see how much traffic each article is getting, you will also see whether each piece is getting search engine referrals. You can also generate a fan club at Search Warp, so if people like what you are writing about, you could benefit in more than one way.

Area219.com
This site calls itself a content directory, and takes article submissions on almost any topic. One of the advantages of using Area219.com is that they allow you to insert your Adsense publisher ID into your profile and then shares the ad impressions on your article pages with you 50/50.

The site is fairly new but will undoubtedly grow exponentially once people start seeing the benefit of sharing the Adsense revenue with the directory.

These are some the top article directories online today, so make sure you are a part of all of them.

Why Anybody Can Use The Nikon D300

without comments

At first, the Nikon D300 may look a little intimidating. This is especially true if you have already read a lot of reviews about it and are quite aware of its many new features. However, you have to remember that the D300 is like the big brother that the Nikon D200 never had. Yes, it has been overhauled and yes it may seem like it’s a totally different camera but there is a big BUT after such a statement. It still has the same familiarity that you once felt with your old Nikon digital SLRs BUT it absolutely kicks more ass!

Is this stuff all new to you? Well, even if you are a total stranger to Nikon or even a complete newbie in being a photographer and if you know practically nothing about it, the Nikon D300’s control layout is so user-friendly, reasonable and well organized that the moment you set your eyes on it, you will instantly feel comforted. It doesn’t hurt either that the labels are so plain, precise and helpful. If somehow you find yourself in the middle of a situation where the need to make more technical adjustments becomes apparent, you can always consult the top-mounted LCD. The most common of the settings, like white balance, ISO and bracketing, are easily changed by holding the button on the left side of the camera and flicking the command wheel to browse through the options. Finally, a push on the info button shows all the existing shooting data on the main LCD.

Check out our Nikon D300 Review - Click Here

But if you’re still not the “learning by doing” type who usually will just swing it, you can always try to study the manual first (oh yeh!). Most of the questions that you’ll have are going to be answered in one of the pages of the very detailed manual that accompanies your Nikon D300, so make sure you out it to good use. Should, by any remote chance, your question not be answered fully in the manual then you can always use Nikon’s comprehensive tutoring site.

Additionally, if that does not resolve your problem then you’ll find literally hundreds of sites, by doing a Google search, which will guide you, every step of the way, in your adventure that is the Nikon D300. With so many different sources of information its now so easy for anybody who’s into photography or at least curious about it to learn and understand their new powerful digital SLR camera – there is absolutely no need to be afraid of the techno babble. That’s a promise. In using your D300, you will realize that focusing an onscreen image manually is a lot less troublesome than with the other SLRs.

The Nikon D300 is a far greater step forward than its specs would suggest. With its solid design, excellent handling and robust, weather-sealed build quality, the Nikon D300 offers, professional and amateurs alike, quality at a reasonable price. The Nikon D300 is truly your doorway to faultless photography.

Why You May Need A Copywriter…

without comments

For some reason hiring the services of a professional online copywriter is way down the list of most entrepreneurs’ things to do. And of course, it should be number 1. If you want your site, any site, to convert better to make more sales then you need to hire the skills of a freelance copywriter. You could of course do it yourself but that means spending a bundle on Amazon (the easy part) and then a couple of years’ hard slog before you become at least adequate.

Persuasive words that sell are the one thing you need to have a chance of making any money at all - epspecially in the crowded world of the internet. So why do so many people pass up the chance of working with a top grade copywriter when it should be one of the first things they do?

Well for one thing, too many people think it’s just “words on a page” and surely anyone can do that. Right? Not so…learning how to pull prospects into your copy and hold them there, building desire until they absolutely have to have whatever it is you’re selling is a special skill and one that can’t be learned overnight.

On top of that being able to write copy that stands out in the information age, that towers head and shoulders above rival products is no small task. If you think you can achieve this with no understanding of copy you’re sorely mistaken. The one thing you do have though, is a personal view of your product which, when combined with copy skills, can make a very persuasive offer. Product knowledge plus purposeful copywriting means a ton of sales. Don’t skimp on the most important part of the sales process.

What Do I Need To Do To Get My Dog To Stop Chewing and Biting?

without comments

We all love our puppies, especially when they are being cute and well behaved. We also adore them even when they are acting out in bad ways with annoying habits.

Puppies are so innocent and adorable as we watch them discover their new world, but they can fall into some pretty bad and compulsive behaviors. Two of these are chewing and nipping. Puppies, like most mobile babies and toddlers have an oral fixation stage. They will literally put anything into their little mouths! This curiosity can lead to them being injured, sick, or even dying!

If you properly train your dog you can easily get them to stop chewing up the things you want them to stop chewing on.

Nipping: Nipping during playtime is natural for all puppies, especially when they get excited. But regardless of how adorable your puppy looks or how harmless it may seem, nipping is a bad habit that needs to be stopped right away. Your puppy needs to learn that, even in play, his teeth should not touch human skin. Curbing this behavior now will greatly lessen the odds of your puppy growing up and biting someone in the future.

You should pick up some Rawhide Dog Treats to help your dog to stop chewing up your shoes, furniture etc

Introducing these toys when your puppy is very young will help will them to become accustomed to chewing on their toys rather than your clothes, furniture, shoes, books, etc.! Feel free to consult your veterinarian, pet store owner, or if shopping online you can easily use the online store’s live help or contact information.

To further help with redirecting their behavior onto the toys you have provided, keep them in a confined area with your puppy rather than an area where they can easily focus their attentions on other things. If you happen to see your puppy chewing on something they shouldn’t simply say, “no chew” and quickly replace the item with a chew toy and praise them when they use the toy rather than other things in the home.

Leaving him and going to another room with the door shut teaches him that biting hard “makes the fun go away”. He will eventually learn to control the pressure of his nipping. Once he learns to nip gently, raise the bar and say “ouch” to the gentle bites until he completely learns to stop altogether.

Chewing: Another annoying habit that frustrates us dog owners is when these cute little creatures chew on our stuff (especially those brand new shoes). Puppies have an insatiable urge to chew, mainly to soothe their aching gums as they go through their teething stage. It would be cruel to stop your puppy from trying to soothe his pain, but you can redirect his chewing to his toys instead of your shoes, clothes, books, etc.

Always have plenty of toys available for him to chew on. Get him used to chewing on these toys by having them around with him at all times while he’s still young.

Do you need some dog pajamas to keep your dog cozy at night? If you do pick them up now!

Make sure to place these items in a confined area with your puppy so that he doesn’t focus his attention on other stuff around the house. If you see him chewing on something he’s not supposed to, say “no chew” and quickly replace the item with his chew toy. Make sure to praise him when he starts to chew on his toy.

How to Find State Marriage Licenses

without comments

Historical marriage information is important to establish your relationship with ancestors and to grow and expand your family tree. These national public records can provide several key pieces of information for genealogical research.

Although many people remember a wedding, key data like maiden names are sometimes forgotten by time. With these maiden names come a whole other branch of your family tree that you might not have even know you had. Sometimes marriage license archives also contain details like occupation that can tell you much about the bride’s family’s background and social class.

Luckily, for those trying to find out more about their ancestors, historical marriages information is a matter of public record. They also cover all documented unions in the US. Whether your family comes from Pennsylvania or Palm Beach, you can probably find what you are looking for.

A simple online search can reveal many possible results, but the more details you know about the bride and the groom in question, the easier it will be to limit the records. For those needing more information about a marriage in order to fully expand a family tree, public records, combined with family history, can provide many details necessary to getting a clear picture of your ancestors.

Different states keep personal archives, but because those databases are national public records, they are available across the US, from the comfort of your computer. You can even request a mail-order copy of the marriage license of interest. In the event that you do not know where your family comes from, or a couple did not get married in the state you expected, national archives can help solve some of the mysteries of your family tree by searching all historical marriage information across the US.

Now that you know the names and marriage records of your ancestors, you are one step further to painting a complete picture of family. Historical marriage information is easily available on the internet, and essential to those researching genealogy.

Learning to speak Spansh can be easy, if you go about it the right way…

without comments

Spanish is arguably the third most-spoken language in the world, after Chinese and English. It’s the language spoken by the most people in the Western Hemisphere and is the second most-spoken language in the U.S.A. In fact, what’s the country with the fifth largest population of native Spanish speakers in the world? Why, it’s the U.S.A!

Your best bet for learning Spanish is to get a good interactive audio cours. You can buy one on the Internet, download it in seconds and be taking your first lesson in only minutes. You have complete control over your learning speed. Downloadable media means you can offload the lessons to almost any portable audio device and take your lessons where and when you choose.

Rocket Spanish has achived a degree of fame as arguably the best course out there. Their course has many useful and interesting features.

So how to learn Spanish? The best way is conversationally. You learn some basic vocabulary, a few words. Then you practice using these in spoken conversation. You ask and answer questions. You communicate. Doing that impresses the words on your mind and lets you assimilate them as tools useful for communication. You learn by using the language, not by memorizing vocabulary and conjugating verbs. Think about it. How old were you when you first learned what the word “conjugation” meant? I’ll bet you could already speak pretty good, effective English then!

Rocket Spanish is the leading interactive-audio learn-spanish course because it combines a variety of teaching methods (games, questions and answers, flash cards and more) with excellent, educated native spanish speaking instructors.

If you want to learn to speak Spanish, you won’t go wrong with Rocket Spanish.

Getting Life Insurance

without comments

There are two major forms of life insurance that you should know about before making your decision to obtain it. They serve the same purpose, but they offer the purchaser of the policy some different features.

Term Life

Term life insurance offer the purchaser a low monthly life insurance rate, or premium, in exchange for a limited term for the policy’s existence. Term life insurance policies can be purchased for 5, 10, 15, 20, and 30 year terms, depending on the needs of the purchaser and the beneficiaries. Many people purchase this type of life insurance to protect their family while children are growing up or before they have reached retirement. Getting a quote for a life insurance policy will help you learn the type of coverage available and what different providers will charge.

Talk to Multiple Companies

It’s smart to talk to at least three life insurance companies before making a decision. The same insurance company may also provide auto insurance coverage. Many people buy Term life insurance because it seems the easiest to understand, although it may not always be the best type for them. Term is simply life insurance that pays a death benefit if you die within the time limit of the policy, usually 20 years.

Life Insurance Benefit

The premium and the death benefit stay the same for the initial term after which the premium increases sharply. The policy has no cash value; it simply provides coverage, meaning that if you let it lapse, you have no refund or surrender value coming to you. You want something that will last your entire life, providing a way to pay final expenses, leave a legacy to your heirs, or pay taxes on an estate.
